Two careers.
One way of thinking.

I have been flying in the Bay Area for about 25 years, alongside a career in Silicon Valley engineering, business, and product leadership.

I earned my private pilot certificate in Palo Alto in 2002, turning a childhood fascination with flight into a lifelong pursuit. Today I’m an instrument-rated commercial pilot and flight instructor, specializing in Cessna single-engine airplanes and advanced avionics. I own and fly a 2023 Cessna Turbo 182.

My business career has been built around understanding complex systems, making sound decisions with incomplete information, and helping people grow. Those same disciplines shape FlightFeather. I enjoy making technical ideas clear, breaking difficult skills into manageable pieces, and giving pilots the confidence to think for themselves.

Aviation also gives me a unique way to see and serve the community. Through aerial photography, environmental and civic projects, and volunteer emergency-preparedness flying, I have seen how an airplane can be much more than transportation. It can be a classroom, a camera platform, a connection between communities, and a powerful way to understand the landscape below.

FlightFeather brings those threads together: imagery with perspective, instruction without unnecessary rigidity, and practical mentoring for pilots who want an experienced person in their corner.

Let’s talk about where you want to go.

Whether it’s a photograph, a rating, a demanding trip, or the next stage of your development as a pilot.
